Do you have a passion for both 3D animation and Ryan Gosling’s TV appearances? Well that’s a fairly obscure combination of interests. Create separate channels for each subject and you’ll get more followers.
How to create a new channel
You can create as many channels as you want. Here’s how to do it.
Click the “Add New Channel” Button
Find it by clicking the triangular button beside your profile pic, at the top-right of the screen.
Name your channel and choose a URL
Give your channel a name that lets people know what the channel’s all about — they’ll be more likely to follow it. By default, the URL of your channel will be the same as your channel’s name. Change it if you want.
Choose a channel photo and a cover
Pick some images that are relevant to the topic of your channel. Find a coub to be your cover. You may use coubs from somebody’s channels too. You can only use a HD coub or Hi-Res image for your cover.
To make sure the coub is HD, check the icon in the coub’s lower-right corner.
Start liking and recoubing
Bring content to your channel and like what others create.
Like
When you like a coub, it will be liked by the channel you’re logged into. Changing channel does not reload the page. So you can simply change channel and like from the relevant account.
Recoub
Click the recoub button. You’ll get a menu with all your channels. Now click on the channels that you’d like to recoub to.
Choose channel to credit
When you create a coub, you choose which channel it’s posted in.
You can change the channel at any time, no matter which one you’re logged into. Click the settings button under your coub, choose Edit info. You’ll be given a list of your channels. Choose the channel you’d like to post a coub in.
You won’t lose any of your likes and recoubs by changing channels.
Follow
When you click follow, you'll get a drop-down with all your channels. Just click on the channels you'd like to follow with and it's done.
Build your feed
Find the channels that suit your interests. Interested in Parkour or skateboarding? Follow the Extreme Sports channel. Looking for Game of Thrones or House of Cards coubs? Follow the TV Series channel. New channels are appearing all the time.
