A shirtless man with an arrow lodged in his forehead stands against a cloudy sky, then the scene cuts to a tribal village where a man covered in red pigment is struck by a burst of fire, followed by a close-up of a woman with red face paint, then a low-angle shot of two men in loincloths and boots standing on a dirt field, and finally a close-up of the man with the arrow, who is now looking off to the side. The setting is a primitive village with thatched huts and trees in the background.
