Four workers in orange safety vests stand on a railway track as a red and grey train approaches from the right. The train passes close to the workers, who remain standing on the tracks until the train has passed, with one worker briefly stepping onto the track as the train nears. The scene takes place on a multi-track railway line under an overcast sky, with overhead power lines and signal equipment visible.
