A small hedgehog is held in a person's hand, initially curled into a tight ball, then uncurling to reveal its white belly and face. The hedgehog is offered a small piece of food, which it takes with its mouth while standing on its hind legs, then it remains upright, looking around with its front paws slightly raised. The scene takes place indoors against a dark, out-of-focus background.
