A man in a dark coat stands on a snow-covered sidewalk at night as a large plume of red-tinged steam erupts from a manhole cover in the street, with cars and emergency vehicles visible in the background. The scene abruptly cuts to an animated sequence showing a glowing purple portal with small, dark figures inside, followed by a close-up of a character's face partially obscured by a swirling blue and white energy effect.
