A cat and a dog sit together in a dark, forested area at night, looking up in alarm as a young boy with red hair digs in the ground below them, revealing a glowing lantern. The scene shifts to a stormy, snowy graveyard where a figure runs across a hill, pursued by a line of shadowy, hunched creatures, while a large, monstrous figure with a hammer looms in the background.
