A soldier in a helmet looks cautiously through a dark, industrial space, then crouches and moves forward. In a contrasting scene, a woman in a black skirt and high heels stands in a library aisle, bends down, and picks up a book from the floor. The sequence ends with a close-up of a woman's eyes and a notebook filled with crude drawings.
