Jellyfish are ancient creatures that can be founded worldwide. The giant among them is Cyanea jellyfish. Let's take a closer look :)

The home of Cyanea capillata jellyfish is the north part of oceans. That's why it calls Arctic jellyfish. It's one of the longest creatures in the world. It can reach 33 m with tentacles and it's radius can be to 2,5 m.

In adult stage Cyanea capillata consumes other species of jellyfish. For example, these Aurelia jellyfish that surrounded our giant Cyanea.

Sometimes hunter becomes a prey. Like this Cyanea capillata jellyfish that failed under the pressure of sea anemones.

But Cyanea genus has more then one species. Some of them can be found in warmer waters on the south, like this in Australia. Here Cyanea became meal for turtle.
