It's been a few years since I was last active on this platform. I logged back in at the beginning of the year to see how Coub has changed. Most of the people I know from before are still active, which makes me happy. After I saw Vegr's coub "Hanabi ✾", we wrote briefly and Vegr suggested a combined story about fireworks. I liked that idea. This summer, I went to a fireworks festival for the first time in years. The display was beautiful. There were many people around but it was peaceful. Fireworks bring people together to celebrate and let go of all worries, even if it's only for a brief moment. This is what I appreciate most about it.
