A man is crucified on a wooden cross against a bright sky, with a crowd of people in ancient-style clothing gathered below, some carrying spears and others holding the cross as it is raised. The scene cycles through a low-angle shot of the crucifixion, an overhead view of the crowd lifting the cross, and close-ups of the man on the cross with the sun flaring behind him.
