A man in a patterned, historical-style jacket sits at a table, first resting his head on his hand with a pensive expression, then laughing heartily, and finally leaning forward to eat from a plate with a spoon. The scene cuts to a young woman with red hair in pigtails, wearing a blue and white dress, who looks on with a serious, unsmiling expression. The setting appears to be an indoor room with a painted backdrop of trees and sky.
