A woman in a long dress stands in a dilapidated, open-roofed building, then bends to pick up a dark object from the floor. The scene cuts to a close-up of her face, which shifts from a downward gaze to a direct, intense stare at the camera. The sequence ends with a distant shot of a small figure sitting in the doorway of a weathered structure.
