Who's there?

A man in a coat and hat stands at the doorway of a wooden house, holding a box, and repeatedly knocks on the door with a stick. The scene cuts to a black bird with a tufted head looking out from an open window, then returns to the man still knocking. The setting is a rural wooden house with a porch and a window with shutters.
