Aaahhh!!!

A small mouse with a white face and grey ears sits in a dark, rocky burrow, its mouth open in a scream. A glowing purple, skull-topped staff appears beside it, and the mouse reaches out to touch it, causing a burst of purple light and smoke to erupt around the staff before it vanishes and the mouse closes its mouth.
