Strength of spirit

A young man in a purple cap and red-and-blue jacket stands before a damaged concrete wall with a horizontal hole, repeatedly bringing his hands to his face in a gesture of distress or contemplation, then extending his right arm to point at the hole, before returning to the face gesture, all within a narrow urban alleyway.
