sadness n' misery

A blonde anime girl in a white dress stands on a stone path in a sunlit garden, raising her hands as if casting a spell, then vanishes in a flash of light. The scene cuts to a boy in a dark shirt standing opposite her in a desaturated, monochrome setting, followed by a close-up of his face as he looks down with a somber expression.
