Pinocchio stands on a wooden stage under a spotlight, initially posing with one arm raised, then spreading both arms wide with a smile, before bringing his hands to his face in a shocked expression. The scene cuts to Jiminy Cricket, who stands on a dark stage with a yellow backdrop, looking downcast and then angrily clenching his umbrella.
