Childhood

A bright light flashes, followed by a close-up of a smiling boy with spiky green hair, then a blurry motion shot, a dark scene, a boy with glasses and a determined expression, and finally a boy with spiky blond hair smiling. The sequence shows a series of quick cuts between different anime characters in various emotional states, set against shifting, indistinct backgrounds.
