Phenakistope

A circular disc features a ring of red lion heads around the perimeter and a central ring of black silhouettes of figures in various poses, which appear to be dancing or performing acrobatics in a continuous loop. The disc rotates, creating the illusion of motion in the figures and the lions' expressions changing as they face outward.
