What is Dep’s gender?

A light blue vintage car drives down a narrow street lined with old buildings, then ascends a steep, stone-paved hill while a man in a white sweater and a woman in a red dress struggle to get into the passenger side. The car continues up the hill, the man now in the driver's seat, the woman in the passenger seat, and the car's rear wheel lifts off the ground as it crests the incline. The scene is set in a sunlit, narrow street in a town with old buildings and laundry hanging on lines.
