The lonely squirrel

A dark-furred squirrel with a white belly sits on a pink and white checkered surface, holding a small object in its paws and repeatedly bringing it to its mouth. A human hand enters the frame and gently touches the squirrel's head and body, causing the animal to shift slightly but continue its activity.
