Three young men in school uniforms stand in a dimly lit, stone-walled room, each drinking from a metal cup, as one of them, with red hair, drinks from his cup and then reacts with wide eyes and a startled expression. The scene shifts to a dormitory where the same red-haired boy, now in a patterned sweater and a knitted hat, yells with his mouth open, while another boy in a grey shirt looks on with a surprised expression, and a third boy in a red robe stands with his hands clasped, as the camera angle inverts to show the room from a reversed perspective.
