A rooster repeatedly pecks and bats at a yellow and white ball on a wooden deck, then runs after it as it rolls off the deck onto grass, where the rooster continues to attack it. The scene shifts to a concrete patio where two roosters approach a red ball, and one pecks at it while the other watches.
