There are very few people who think so deeply and who doubt the existence of anything that’s beyond nature.

Even the first reasonable thought one has is quickly dismissed; thank God science doesn’t exist.

Do Neanderthals or Homo sapiens also have souls? Which human species had souls for the first time?

It wasn’t until then that people were considered to be something more than just a living creature—because they think, have a soul, and possess beliefs. (We don’t have a soul, and atheists don’t have any beliefs at all.)

People are animals. Yet even then, we don’t think that humans know anything at all.

Orosz László’s last thought when he became an atheist was that he couldn’t believe there was a soul that would continue to exist after his death.

Whether it’s music, biology, or evolution—it doesn’t really matter.
