Ruler

A hand holds a transparent plastic ruler horizontally on the edge of a speckled countertop, then slowly lifts and bends it downward until it snaps in half, with the break occurring under the weight of the ruler's own flex. The scene takes place on a kitchen or office counter with papers and a red container in the background.
