A person appears in two side-by-side frames, first holding up a paper with the Russian word "попытка" (attempt) written on it, then holding up a second paper with "I попытка" (I attempt) written on it, while the right side shows the same person in a different shirt reacting with a calm expression. The person then holds up a pen and makes a motion as if to write, while the other person remains still, and the person on the left opens their mouth in surprise. The setting is an indoor room with patterned wallpaper.
