An orange kitten attempts to climb a concrete step, fails, and tumbles down into a drainpipe, then reappears from the pipe's opening. A calico kitten watches from above, then approaches the drain as the orange kitten emerges. The scene takes place on a weathered concrete surface with a low wall and a drain.
