How come that’s the case… ))

A white and grey cat repeatedly bats at and pounces on a small, light-colored animal lying on the ground in a sun-dappled outdoor area with dirt, grass, and a long pipe. The cat rolls the smaller animal onto its back and continues to play with it, batting at its paws and head while the smaller animal remains mostly still.
