A masked figure with a spiral-patterned eye and a dark cloak appears against a dark background, then the scene shifts to a character with a red and white mask standing before a swirling red and purple portal. The masked figure reappears, now holding a large, curved blade, as purple energy swirls around him. The scene cuts to a confrontation between the masked figure and a young man with spiky blond hair and an orange headband, who is illuminated by a bright white light. The sequence ends with a burst of purple energy and a white, feather-like object flying through the air.
