A woman in a yellow dress stands beside a purple van, looking shocked as a park ranger in a green uniform stands nearby with a concerned expression; the scene cuts to a close-up of the ranger smiling as he adjusts his collar, then to a wide shot of a road littered with the bloody, dead bodies of various animals, including deer, bears, and goats, with the woman now lying among them, waving her hand in distress; the sequence ends with a classroom scene where several children sit at desks, looking forward with various expressions of concern and boredom.
