one hand washes the other

In a large, dimly lit hall with rows of empty red seats, a man in a light-colored jacket and a woman in a white dress stand near a projector on a table, while other people gather and move in the background. The man in the light jacket turns and shakes hands with another man in a dark jacket, then turns back toward the woman as the group continues to interact. The scene cuts to a cartoon of Homer Simpson peeking over a green hedge with a surprised expression.
