A man in a white lab coat and a black top hat stands in a cluttered workshop, holding a welding torch and raising the hat with his other hand in a theatrical gesture, then lowers the hat to his head while still holding the torch. The scene cuts to a black screen, then returns to the man in the workshop, now wearing goggles on his forehead and holding a long metal rod, smiling at the camera.
