A girl with long hair and a bandaged face holds a hatchet while looking back at a figure in a dark, traditional Japanese room. The scene cuts to a boy in a hat and coat being struck by a glowing line, then his face shows shock and blood, followed by a close-up of a white, one-eyed robot with a red ring. The sequence ends with a pink-haired girl in a school uniform swinging a baton at the robot on a bridge at night.
