A player in a first-person shooter game moves through a sunlit, war-torn urban environment, engaging an enemy in a narrow alley before being killed and respawning in a dark tunnel. The scene cuts to a black-and-white clip of a person in a gas mask and beret lighting a cigarette, then returns to the game where the player respawns and immediately engages another enemy in the tunnel.
