Why the wolf?

A translation interface displays the Russian phrase "Серый волк" and its Chinese translation "灰太狼," with a cursor clicking the play button to hear the pronunciation. The scene then cuts to a gray wolf in a snowy forest, howling with its head tilted back, as the Russian phrase "Серый волк" is overlaid on the image.
