clouds were flying

A young woman with short dark hair and a school uniform looks up with wide, tearful eyes at a young man in a dark jacket, her expression shifting from surprise to emotional distress as she covers her face with her hands; the scene transitions to a wide shot of the two standing together on a cloud-covered landscape at sunset, then to the man looking up at a night sky filled with streaking meteors, followed by a view of a city skyline at dusk and a bright light descending from the sky over the clouds.
