a difficult path

A group of figures on large, shaggy creatures with prominent horns ride through a dusty canyon toward a cave entrance, kicking up dust as they move forward. The scene cuts to a close-up of two men with distressed expressions, then to a small green creature peeking over a pack on a creature's back, before returning to the men's faces.
