A squirrel stands on a wooden platform, repeatedly rearing up on its hind legs and reaching upward with its front paws toward a tangle of bare branches, while a blue bowl of food sits nearby. The animal alternates between standing upright and leaning back, its mouth open as if calling or eating, against a backdrop of dry, tangled vegetation.
