They're not asleep

A person walks along a wet sidewalk at night, moving forward as cars pass on the adjacent road under the glow of streetlights and traffic signals. The camera follows the person's forward motion along the pavement, with the road and traffic visible to the left and a grassy, snow-dusted verge to the right.
