melancholy

A small, red-skinned alien with large blue eyes looks upward with a concerned expression, then turns its head slightly as its chest glows with a bright, warm light, revealing a pulsing, internal energy source. The scene is set outdoors at night, with a dark, blurred background of foliage. The alien's hands move to its chest as the light intensifies, and the sequence ends with a cut to a figure in a dark helmet and armor, holding a small, green, furry creature.
