A man with long hair, dressed in a black coat, plays the violin on a stage with a large, shadowy figure projected behind him. The scene cuts to a woman in period clothing writing on sheet music, then to a conductor leading an orchestra in a candlelit hall, followed by a close-up of the violinist's face, and finally to an audience of women in historical dress, one of whom is wiping a tear from her eye.
