The calico burst

A large crack in the earth opens up on a hillside overlooking a city, with the camera panning across the chasm and the surrounding bare trees. The scene then cuts to a man with a headband and crutches looking upward in a crowded room, surrounded by people also gazing up, as the camera moves to show the group's collective attention directed at something above.
