A man in a kitchen, wearing an apron, reacts to a pot boiling over with a large plume of steam, causing him to jump back in surprise, then he runs out of the room, leaving the kitchen in disarray, before returning to the stove to check on the pot. The setting is a cluttered, dimly lit kitchen with green walls, a hanging light fixture, and laundry drying on a line.
