in the tape recorder

A group of cyclists on high-wheel bicycles race around a track in front of officials and spectators, with the Olympic rings visible in the background. The scene cuts to a tennis match on a grass court where players in white attire hit the ball back and forth, followed by a runner in a numbered bib sprinting across a track in front of a large crowd.
