A small dog in a blue outfit attempts to climb a carpeted staircase but loses its balance and tumbles backward down the steps. The scene cuts to a dog falling into water from a rope bridge, then to a dog and a cat in a yard where the dog runs away, and finally to a person in a dark room who trips over a green-lidded trash can.
