A man with a tattooed arm explores the interior of a derelict, rusted ship, moving through its decaying engine room and handling a dusty, broken abacus. The sequence begins with an exterior view of the abandoned vessel on a grassy shore, then shows the man inside, turning a corroded valve, looking through a hole in the hull, and finally manipulating the beads of the abacus.
