A large bird of prey, a hawk, is shown in close-up, then the scene shifts to a person with long hair standing in a snowy landscape. The person extends their arm, and the hawk flies in, landing on their outstretched hand, spreading its wings wide as it perches. The sequence is presented in black and white, with the figures silhouetted against a cloudy sky.
