A repeating pattern of identical cartoon soldiers in green uniforms, all with mouths open in a singing pose, shifts across the screen in a seamless loop. The scene then reveals a wide shot of the soldiers standing in formation on a stage, singing in unison under a sign that reads "КОНКУРС АНТИВОЕНОЙ ПЕСНИ" (Anti-War Song Contest), with a microphone stand in front of them.
