A yellow anthropomorphic cat with cat ears and a beard sits at a table littered with empty bottles and a glass of orange liquid, screaming in distress as the camera zooms in on his face, then the scene cuts to him walking down a city street at night, followed by a sequence of other anthropomorphic animals—a dog, a rabbit, and a rooster—each walking with a similar sad or dazed expression down the same street.
