three rules

A woman in a purple outfit smokes a cigarette while standing against a peeling wallpapered wall. A man in a flat cap stands in profile, then a man in a light jacket struggles with pipes in a dark basement. A band plays in a restaurant, followed by a man in a suit dancing erratically in a dining room. The sequence ends with a close-up of a man resting his head on his hand while smoking.
